SkipperLiner's eight-acre shipbuilding facility has a 60,000 sq. ft. climate controlled marine production center, a 7,500 sq. ft. climate controlled NFPA & DNR approved paint/coating center, and a closed loop filtration system in the 7,500 sq. ft. climate controlled sandblast facility. Two additional specialized buildings are on site, adding 34,000 sq. ft. of support facilities for the marine production center.
SkipperLiner is one of the only passenger vessel builders in the U.S. to construct the entire vessel, from fabrication to paint coating to final assembly, indoors. According to industry experts, building passenger vessels in a climate controlled environment results in a higher quality product, efficient labor and timely delivery. In addition, our location on the Mississippi River provides vessels worldwide access to SkipperLiner - a key selling feature.
Beyond new product improvements, SkipperLiner clients are treated to a first class experience at the new Customer Design Center. The new concept is a 2,000 sq. ft. glass walled technology center housing custom design and interior décor services for new builds and retrofits. SkipperLiner clients will be able to use cutting edge technology to design their new vessel.
